About All Nepal Tourism Workers Union

All Nepal Tourism Workers Union (ANTWU) is a leading trade union organization representing over 2500 workers of the tourism industry in Nepal. Established in 2008 and officially registered with the Department of Labor and Occupational Safety, ANTWU works to promote and protect the rights of all tourism workers in the country. From the beginning, ANTWU has been actively advocating for the fundamental rights of workers and has intensified its lobbying and advocacy efforts over the years. In addition to organizing training programs to improve the skills and quality of services offered by workers, ANTWU also strives for a democratic labor market and industrial development in Nepal. As a priority, ANTWU works to ensure decent work, social security, and a democratic labor market for all workers in the nation. To achieve these goals, ANTWU has been pushing for the reform of labor laws and the social security bill and has been lobbying for the implementation of all labor laws, social security acts, and ILO core conventions ratified by the Nepal government. ANTWU also works to pressure concerned authorities to implement a minimum wage and labor standards, including worker representation in decision-making bodies.
